Tie me up

"One time, when i was little, my brother's friends were over and I - being the annoying little sister - went over to them when my brother went to the bathroom, and I was like, 'Tie me up, I bet I can get out. I'm good at getting out.' And they were like, 'What do you have for us to tie you up with?' and I said, 'My jump rope! My Santa Claus jump rope!' So they did and then I couldn't get out, so I yelled at them to untie me and they were like, 'No, you said you could get out.' But I kept yelling and they got so annoyed, one of them took his sock off and stuck it in my mouth and they stuck me under the pine tree and left me. And then my mom came home and my brother Chad came out and figured out what happened." - Nutella

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

This isn't so much awkward as just funny.

Awwwwkward

So, sometimes Nutella puts me in awkward situations. For example, today a guy knocked on my door and said, "Nutella said I'm supposed to talk to you." Yes, we are going on a group date tomorrow night. The best part: Nutella came home and when I gave her a dirty look she jumped on my bed grinning, "What did he say?" As I told her about the encounter I told her though he was a nice guy "it could not have been any more awkward." To which she responded, "If he'd been standing there in a towel it would have been!" Good Point! That would have made it more awkward. Thank you for bringing a fresh perspective Tel, now the only question: where did you come up with that?!?!

Squeaker Squeak, Squeak Squeakin

"Did I tell you about my squeaky shoes?!" Oh, this is going to be good I can tell! Today Tella was walking through the library when the peaceful silence made her painfully aware that her shoes squeak. In fact she was walking behind a guy who turned around to give the culprits the stink eye. She then proceeded to walk faster - louder, but over quicker. Wondering about this unfortunate experience we decided to examine the footwear and see what might be the problem. They seemed just fine in our hands, leading Nutella to the biggest thing since E=mc2: "shoe + my foot = squeak!"

Is that an Easterner thing?

Sorry it's been a while. Nutella and I have both been real busy and haven't been around each other a lot lately.

Tonight we had a roommate pizza outing though and as we were chatting Tella was telling us a story about a "Tom Peeper" at their house once. We all looked confused and asked, "Do you mean a Peeping Tom?" "YES! That's it!" We decided we're going to call them Tom Peepers from now on. It has a nice ring to it.
